Amendment 0003 - The purpose of this amendment is to provide updated plans and specifications, extend the solicitation period, and provide responses to offeror generated Requests for Information. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), En Route Construction Branch (AAQ-540) has a need to replace fire alarm/fire life safety systems in the MCI Air Traffic Control Tower in Kansas City, Missouri. This project is set aside for full and open competition (unrestricted set aside). The esimtated construction magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. See attached Request for Offers (RFO) package for details. A one-time site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 8:00 AM Central Time. Site visit attendees will meet with Ms. Nancy Jimenez at the Air Traffic Control Tower gate at MCI International Airport. The tower address is 4 International Square, Kansas City, MO. 64153. Please have valid picture identification ready for inspection upon arrival. Site visit attendees shall pre-announce their intent to inspect the site no later than noon Pacific Time on Friday, August 30, 2024. Prospective offerors shall email the names of all site visit attendees to mark.salumfaa.gov. Time on Monday, September 9, 2024. Responses to RFIs will be provided in writing via solicitation amendment only. No RFIs will be answered during the site visit.
