Renovation of a civil project in Hubert, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) requests proposals for completion of filter and softener tank rehabilitation at our Hubert Water Treatment Plant. The successful proposer (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment and labor necessary to perform all tasks described in the Scope of Work, including: removing and disposing of existing media; performing a visual inspection of each tank and repairing defective areas (including spot and patch welding) as needed; preparing and painting interior surfaces; pressure testing; and, installing new media in a total of four (4) steel tank filter vessels. Work will be performed at ONWASA's Hubert Water Treatment Plant, 372 Hubert Blvd, Hubert NC 28539. Work is to begin within seven (7) calendar days from the receipt of a Notice to Proceed, and all work on the project shall be completed and the tanks ready for service within 90 calendar days from that date. The use of subcontractors is not permitted on this project. ONWASA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to accept any proposal which, in the opinion of ONWASA, appears to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all proposals for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening thereof.
