ELSINBORO SCHOOL MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM HVAC, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by RADEY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS, 100 Haddontowne Court, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, 08034. The Work of the project will be let in a single Mechanical prime contract: Deadline for questions at 2:00 PM Tuesday 09/03/24 Addendum issued Thursday 09/12/24 Anticipated Award / Board Meeting Bids must be made in triplicate (1 Original and 2 Copies) on the proposal forms provided and in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of bidder and proposal identification on outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Elsinboro Twp. Board of Education for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid; and must be delivered to the named place on or before the hour named. The Board of Education assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Board of Education to do so. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A pertaining to "Public School Contracts Law." All bidders are placed on notice that they are required to comply with all requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 through 10:5-38) and all duly adopted Affirmative Action Regulations (N.J.A.C. 17:27). All bidders shall comply with The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act P.L. 1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25, et seq.) and The Public Works Contractor Registration Act P.L.1999 c.238. Certificate of Compliance issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, or proof of application shall be submitted with bid. In addition and pursuant to N.J.S.A 18A:64A-25.17, each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate from Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/Classification Certificate and the Total Uncompleted Contract Form will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. All bidders shall provide proof of their Registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. Prospective bidders may request clarifications of the Bid Documents from the Architect in writing by contacting RADEY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS 100 Haddontowne Court, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. All questions must be submitted in writing; no phone calls will be accepted. All facsimiles must include the project name.
