The Housing Authority of the City of Salem (SHA) is issuing a Request for Qualifications for General Contractor Services (Masonry & Carpentry) for all SHA properties. The contract will be awarded for the period of November 1, 2024- October 31, 2025, with a one-year option to extend to October 31, 2026. The specifications contained in the Request for Qualifications shall be considered as clear and complete unless written attention is called to any apparent discrepancy or omission thereof before opening of proposals. The Contractor agrees that any estimates as stated in the Request for Qualifications are only to provide a uniform basis for comparison of proposals and are not represented to be accurate. Such estimates shall not be considered a binding feature of any contract or in any other way to determine any liability against the SHA. To the extent any new hiring is needed for the SHA and U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development funded projects; Section 3 Employment and Contracting provisions will apply. Attention is directed to the instructions and specifications which are made part of this invitation. The proposer shall be responsible for all costs of preparing responses to this solicitation and to submit their proposal in accordance with the proposal instructions.
