The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia ("the Owner") seeks proposals from interested qualified firms to provide landscape maintenance services for ten (10) County roads on the mainland of Glynn County. The landscape maintenance service includes trash / debris pick up, mowing, string trimming, and edging. A total of 54.4 acres will be serviced 18 times annually. This will be a multi-year contract. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project . Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted, in writing via Electronically. Intended Date for Contract Award:October 3, 2024 Bidders are requested to review Bid alternates, if any, as outlined on the Proposal Form. Contract Time: Contract time shall consist of Three Hundred Sixty Five Days (365) consecutive calendar days for the completion of work, to be computed from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages may be assessed at 0 per day. It is anticipated that a contract, if awarded, will be for a base period of one year, beginning upon receipt of a Notice of Award and followed by four (4), one (1) year extension options. Unless otherwise terminated as provided for in the contract, upon the expiration of this initial term, the Contract shall automatically renew for up to four (4) successive one year terms beginning July 1 of each year and ending June 30 of the next year (each a "Renewal Term") with the fourth and final Renewal Term beginning on July 1, 2028, and ending on June 30, 2029 unless the County provides written notice of non-renewal to Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the Initial Term or any Renewal Term thereafter. Base Year- The Base year of this contract will commence upon the date noted in the "Notice to Proceed" and cover the period of NTP - June 30, 2025 First Option Year - The time period of July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 Second Option Year - The time period of July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 Third Option Year - The time period of July 1, 2027 - June 30, 2028 Fourth Option Year - The time period of July 1, 2028 - June 30, 2029
