Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Voorhees, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project generally includes: The construction of a bicycle route along Somerdale Road (CR 678), Preston Avenue (CR 679), and Fairview Avenue.The project also includes the construction of missing segments of concrete sidewalk and improvements to existing areas of concrete sidewalk along Evesham Road (CR 544). Additional improvements include traffic signal upgrades, signage, striping, and bicycle facility improvements (bike rack). Each bid must be accompanied by (i) all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and (ii) a bid guarantee in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid price as established in the Bid, not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, must be drawn to the order of Voorhees Township and must be delivered simultaneous with the sealed bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C.17:27, and all other applicable laws referenced within the drawings, specifications and contract documents. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. Voorhees Township reserves the right to (i) reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and (ii) to waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of the Voorhees Township to do so. Further, Voorhees Township shall reject any bid that contains material nonconformities or conditions, or which is materially nonresponsive. In the event Voorhees Township does not reject all bids as permitted under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4, and other applicable laws, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. This project is being partially funded by a DVRPC Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program Grant.
