Island Health has issued this Request for Proposals for the purpose of inviting proposals from construction management firms to undertake services and construction as outlined in this RFP for the fit up of a leased site for MHSU Oceanside Treatment Centre located at 188 McCarter Street, Parksville BC. The project is the tenant improvement of approximately 13,000 sqft of leased space to support a 19 bed Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) Addictions Treatment Service Centre, located at 188 McCarter Street in Parksville. This facility will be designed to support individuals with moderate to severe substance use challenges, necessitating extended treatment services spanning up to 90 days within a facility setting. The Treatment Service Center is envisioned to provide comprehensive support for a spectrum of substance use treatment requirements, addressing issues related to alcohol, illicit drugs, and concurrent disorders as necessary. The intention is to meet CSA Z8000 standards, ensuring that the facility is equipped to deliver effective and safe treatment services.
