Site work for a civil project in Parksville, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Parkville is inviting qualified General Contractors for a Stipulated Price Contract (CCDC2, 2020) for the replacement of a chemical storage tank at the ERWS facility in Parksville, and supporting mechanical, electrical and structural works to incorporate the new tank into the facility. Work of this Contract involves work within City owned land at the existing WWTP and incorporates the following components: 1. Assume responsibility of Owner Supplied stainless steel chemical storage tank. Details on the supplier will be provided by addendum once confirmed. 2. Installation of the new tank as per the Engineering Work Package (EWP) and specifications. 3. Mechanical piping to facilitate the tank installation. 4. Installation of new anchors for the tank. 5. Demolition of existing two existing wood stave tanks 6. Installation of heater in new tank and heat tracing for specific piping. 7. The installation and programming/commissioning support of instrumentation and controls for the above-mentioned equipment. 8. Construction and installation of all associated equipment listed on the drawings and specifications. 9. Testing, commissioning of all equipment and process areas and switch over to City ownership.
