The Bridge Inspection Program for the New Jersey Turnpike (TPK) consists of the inspections for the 595 routine bridges and 24 major bridges. As of June 2024, the routine bridges are divided into six (6) Groups. Bridges located in Groups 2, 4, and 6 are to be inspected in every odd year. Bridges located in Groups 1, 3, and 5 are to be inspected in every even year. A routine bridge is typically a mainline or local road structure with an average of four simple spans and a multi-stringer system which carries or spans over multi-lane/direction expressway traffic. This Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) is for TPK Groups 2, 4, and 6. The inspection and report format will follow the standard requirements for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority bridge inspection program and shall utilize proprietary software provided by Bentley "AssetWise Inspections" (AWI) to develop the reports.
