Renovation of an educational facility in Verdun, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Addition of air-conditioning on all levels (ground, second and third floors); replacement of ceilings and lighting on the second, third and entire stairwells, as well as on the partial ground floor; addition of four new ventilation units, including two on the roof and two in the mechanical room on the ground floor; addition of two platforms with maintenance walkways and screens on the roof; addition of a pad-mounted transformer (TSS) in the parking lot and a new Hydro-Québec electrical entrance in the basement. Replacement of gas boilers in the mechanical room on the ground floor. TIMELINE: The owner has not accepted any of bids submitted to the tender for the general contractor 24-018 - 061192127/20015345 because of the cost overruns. The owner is redefining the project scope and expects to issue a new tender in late summer/fall 2025. Further update at that time.
