The Facilities Management Division (hereinafter, the "Division or Department") has issued this informal competition Quick Quote (hereinafter, "QQ") with the intent of obtaining quotes from interested vendors in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The vendor, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. DAS Building 5 Insulation Building Envelope Restoration The goal of this project is to provide a new rodent resistant building envelope on the interior of Kennel Building 5 at the Domestic Animal Services Campus and improve the interior bisecting wall to create an air barrier between the two halves of the building. Building Envelope Provide and install Huntsman Building Solutions HEATLOK HFO EZ Closed-Cell Spray Foam insulation or approved equal. Three (3) 2" lifts at vertical walls & two (2) 2" lifts at ceiling in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Alternate #1 Install owner provided 304 stainless steel rodent-proof mesh across the inside of the exterior walls at all potential intrusion points. Ensure all details and any potential openings are fully sealed with mesh to ensure a rodent proof barrier. Alternate #2 In lieu of spray foam insulation ridged board installed to match the R Value of the spray foam lifts (R-28) Alternate #3 Contractor shall provide and install an intumescent coating on all foam to meet FBC requirements and foam manufacturers requirements.
