Reference Number 0000364391 Job Location Lowell Heiny Hall, 1319 N 12th St, Grand Junction, CO 81501 Estimated Construction Cost: $820,069 Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove existing HVAC system and replace with a new heat pump system in the fourth-floor mechanical room of Lowell Heiny Hall (LHH) connected to campus geothermal loop. To Connect and route the geothermal heat exchange loop piping from outside of LHH to the fourth-floor mechanical room. The existing chiller, located on the roof all related piping and accessories shall be removed, disposed of and replaced with new water sourced heat pumps. The system will be connected to the geothermal heat exchange loop that was expanded in summer 2024 and terminated next to the building on the west side of LHH. The contractor chosen to perform the work will have access to the building beginning on: October 4, 2024, and must complete the work on or before May 30, 2025.
