Westlock County is seeking detailed quotations from qualified contractors for the subgrade rehabilitation of select gravel roads within the County. The roads in question exhibit subgrade failure, as evidenced by severe ruts and potholes, indicating weak and unstable subgrade conditions, and reduced load-bearing capacity. We request quotations to determine the cost per linear mile for rehabilitating each segment of the road. The project involves the subgrade rehabilitation of gravel roads at various locations within Westlock County. The locations may be scattered across the county jurisdiction. The existing gravel thickness on these roads is approximately 300mm, though this may vary across different sections. The roads are designed for a speed of 80 km/h. Typical Road Section within the county are: 20m Right of Way & 6m Finished Gravel Road Surface 30m Right of Way & 8m Finished Gravel Road Surface The selected contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: Subgrade Preparation Subgrade Rehabilitation Gravel Replacement
