Lee County Utilities is seeking to execute a single source for supply, technical support, and/or service of Beck electric actuators used throughout Lee County water and wastewater treatment plants by Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. Beck actuators are used at all water and wastewater plants to control the flow of water and chemicals for various system processes and are an integral part of the operation of all facilities. The description of services intended for purchase from a single source is posted in accordance with section 3.9, Procurement Ordinance 23-21 and will be posted for a minimum of 15 business days. Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of Beck Electric Actuators Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of Beck drives in the United States and the only company that can provide the technical support, and/or service of Beck electric actuators. For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Single Source Procurement method to purchase from Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. for supplying the above.
