Rebid 1 - Elevator Maintenance, Inspections and Repair Services Description: The Contractor shall provide all labor, including materials, travel and per diem, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to maintain, inspect and repair five (5) passenger elevators and four (4) freight elevators located at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Men¿s Colony (CMC) located at Highway 1 North Colony Drive, San Luis Obispo, CA 93409. CDCR is committed to meeting and exceeding the three percent (3%) goal for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation in State contracting activities, set forth in Military and Veterans Code 999. The DVBE Incentive Program applies to all contracting activities for services. The DVBE incentive is applied during the evaluation process and is only applied to responsive bids from responsible bidders proposing DVBE participation. This incentive is for bid computation only. Any letters of inquiry must be submitted by email to allow CDCR time to research and prepare a response. Contractor may submit a written request to terminate this Agreement only if the State should substantially fail to perform its responsibilities as provided herein.
