The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. The project is expected to be released for bid in June 2025. Those Contractors currently on the Cathodic Protection Special Prequalification list need not reapply unless changes have been made affecting their qualifications. Project Name Bid - Opening Date US101: Depoe Bay Bridge - May 1, 2025 US101: Cummins Creek Bridge - December 12, 2026 The primary purpose of a Cathodic Protection Project is to rehabilitate and preserve the structures by repairing reinforced concrete components damaged by corrosion and installing an impressed current cathodic protection system or replacing an aged cathodic protection system for reinforced concrete components above the ordinary high-water line. Additional work on the structures may be included in the Project. Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who have received written notification from ODOT that they have passed the Contractor Special Prequalification evaluation. Contractors passing the Contractor Special Prequalification will also be required to prequalify under the ODOT Prime Contractor Prequalification process, if they have not already done so, at least ten (10) days prior to bid opening. Contractors that pass the Contractor Special Prequalification may also be required to become TERO certified to successfully bid on identified projects.
