PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all necessary expertise, labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and permits required to complete the Project as more fully described in the Contract Documents, including: Exterior rehabilitation of the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, which is the complete above-ground exterior restoration of the lighthouse and is summarized as the work required to protect the site, deconstruct the roofing, lighthouse lantern, windows, doors, and areas of siding. Work to include the repair of roof framing, chimneys, brick foundation, lantern, siding, doors, and windows with the installation of a new roof and complete exterior paint coatings. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be as shown on the Plans and as specified herein at the following location(s): 1. Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site, Newport, OR B. Contractor shall furnish all permits, labor, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and incidentals required to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and terms of the Contract. Also refer to the Contract Documents for additional requirements and information. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization/Overhead. 2. Site Protection and Work Platforms 3. Deconstruction and Material Salvage. 4. Carpentry Repairs and structural improvements. 5. Masonry Repairs and Repointing. 6. Exterior Painting and Wood Coatings. 7. Sheet metal roof flashings, gutters, downspouts, chimney caps and related work. 8. Roofing Preparation and Installation of new roofing. 9.
