Renovation of an educational facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the following: replacing an existing computer room air conditioner (CRAC) that cools the college's primary server room. In order to improve the resiliency of the server room's cooling system, two new CRACs will replace a single existing CRAC. These two new CRACs will be complete with outdoor condensers sized for 120 deg F ambient conditions and each will be sized to carry the full load of the server room. Modifications to the electrical system will eliminate single points of failure by creating redundant electric supply (generator power and building power) to both the CRACs and the individual servers equipped with dual power supplies. bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. All substitutions for products other than those specified are requested to be submitted ten (10) calendar days prior to the bid date; therefore, shall be submitted no later than September 16. The estimated cost for Base Bid is $350,000 Last addendum will be issued no later than Friday, September 20
