Renovation of a mixed-use development in Charles Town, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Charles Town, West Virginia, is soliciting proposals from businesses to provide the repair of exterior brick to Charles Washington Hall located at 100 West Washington Street, Charles Town WV. Photos of the proposed work area are attached, and we encourage all interested parties to visit the site prior to submitting a bid. Scope of the Project. For the purpose of Charles Washington Hall, the following repairs are needed: o Coordinate work schedule with building management prior to work commencement. o Provide protection of all surfaces that will not be affected. o Provide foot traffic control on affected sidewalks to always ensure public safety. o Replace all damaged and/or broken brick with new brick on exterior of building. o Regrout all lower area where existing grout is missing and/or decaying. o New grout color to be a close match with existing grout color by adding color dye. o All trash and debris will be removed from the premises daily and a final clean-up will be performed at the conclusion of the project. Work to be performed during normal work hours and on the weekends if permissible. The city reserves the right to not select any of the submitted proposals.
