Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 140m2 of existing asphalt surface 50mm to 75mm thick and related saw cutting; Removal and offsite disposal of up to approximately 700m3 waste excavation for the project areas (625m2 for mulch areas and 900m2 for paved areas) and related site grading (for drainage to flow away from school structure – field fit); Supply and install up to approximately 75m3 of structural fill, if necessary, and related waste material, if unsuitable or weak native soil materials are encountered; Approximately 950 m2 of subgrade preparation; Supply and Install new drywell (at created low point) slotted frame and cover; Abandon existing catchbasins; Supply and Install 145m of concrete landscaping curb; Supply and installation of approximately 950m2 of 20mm minus granular base material (100mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 950m2 of 75mm minus granular subbase material (300mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 900m2 of asphalt (50mm minimum thickness); Supply and install approximately 20 m3 of topsoil around disturbed grass areas and grass seeding; Materials Testing (compaction testing for subgrade, subbase, base and asphalt) and asphalt coring; Proof Roll using full water truck on entire subgrade, to be witnessed by the project engineer; Supply and install two basketball hoop concrete bases and install two SD5 supplied basketball hoops; and Restoration of any disturbed landscaping or surface to pre-construction condition. The Owner is requesting a price for optional work (to be awarded if budget permits) an additional area to be paved, wherein the grading and excavation if included in the above, but the optional paving quantities are as follows: Delete 20m of concrete landscaping curb; 35m3 of additional waste excavation to be disposed of offsite; Supply and installation of approximately 230m2 of 20mm minus granular base material (100mm thickness); Supply and installation of approximately 230m2 of 75mm minus granular subbase material (300mm thickness); and Supply and installation of approximately 230m2 of asphalt (50mm minimum thickness) Inquiries are to be directed to: WSP Canada Inc.
