Renovation of a municipal facility in New Underwood, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Technical questions shall be directed to CO-OP Architecture, 601 Kansas City St. #7, Rapid City, SD 57702, 605-716-3652 Bids shall be submitted to the Pennington County Buildings & Grounds Office in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder clearly identified on the envelope and the words Bid for New Underwood Shop Re-Roof . Faxed bids will not be accepted. One combined bid will be accepted for complete construction (all material and labor) as required to provide a complete project. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 30 days following the bid opening without a written request explaining the cause of the withdrawal and without written consent of the Owner after reviewing the cause. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier s check or draft certified or issued by a state or national bank, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to Pennington County; or in lieu thereof, bidder may furnish a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and payable to Pennington County as a guarantee that such bidder will enter into a contract with Pennington County for the work described in the bid and as specified. The Pennington County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein.
