Work generally consists of the construction of a synthetic turf replacement to an existing soccer field #8 (approximately 93,100 square feet). The work includes shock pad installation, preparation base for returfing, including checking the base, filling in low sports, checking the grading and compacting as needed, replacing damaged nailer boards and all related work to construct the turf replacement as indicated in the drawings and specifications. The work includes the installation of a 205' x 365' turf field, underground stone SWM with infiltration trench (SWM facility #2), storm sewer, vinyl chain link fencing, concrete sidewalks, pads, steps with rails and retain wall and all related work to construct the turf conversation as indicated in the drawings and specifications. Any forfeiture of the Bid Bond is limited to the face amount of the bond or the difference between the bid and the next low bid whichever is less. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment bonds and, in an amount, not less than 100% of the contract amount.
