Site work for a road / highway in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
As of December 20, 2024, project is awarded to Southern Utility Group, LLC with the amount of $584,691.40. This work will consist of installing a new single-phase underground loop through an existing neighborhood. The current primary cable feeds through the backyards of the development, with many secondary cables going from the transformers in the backyards to the meter bases on the back of the townhomes. A Certified or Cashier's Check payable to the City of Lawrenceville or a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment and performance bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. The Work shall be completed within 140 consecutive calendar days. "Liquidated Damages" shall mean the negotiated sum of which the Bidder agrees to pay for each consecutive working day beyond the Contract Time required to complete the work in the amount of $100.00 per day. Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Steve Murray, Purchasing Director, via email at steve.murray@lawrencevillega.org no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, September 23, 2024. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety.
