Morehead State University is seeking proposals to establish a price contract for Mowing Services for supplemental mowing, trimming and other ground tasks. Hourly rates for manpower and equipment shall also be provided if the university has special events or occasions that require more than the once per week mowing and trimming. Please enter your hourly rates for the following: A. Zero radius turn riding mower with 1 Operator B. Gas-fired weed-eater with 1 Operator C. Laborer (no equipment) The contract established from this invitation to bid will be for the period of September 11, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with an option to renew for four (4) additional one year periods, both parties consenting. Successful bidder must provide proof of insurance. It is anticipated that the successful bidder will be required to mow the main campus every week from May 15 to September 15 each year as needed. It is also anticipated that the successful bidder will be required to provide supplemental ground help during the off season for tasks like snow and ice removal, leave removal and plant bed work. It is herein set forth that all quantities of time mentioned in this invitation are rough estimates and are not to be implied nor inferred as being guarantees. The University may or may not issue orders for any or all the items listed. Morehead State University reserves the right to award more than one vendor from this bid in such manner as it deems to be the Best Value for the University.
