The work will involve re-surfacing the existing asphalt pavement for the USACE dam service access road at Cave Run Lake. This work will include leveling and wedging the existing pavement as needed and overlaying the road and approach with 2-inches of new surface asphalt. The asphalt mixture, construction, and placement are to meet the requirements of Kentucky Department of Highways Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction (KYDOH SSRBC), current edition, unless otherwise specified in this scope of work. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, supplies, tools, parts, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, communication, and quality control to complete the work listed below, at the area specified at Cave Run Lake, located in Rowan County, Kentucky. The following intended work areas shall be limited to the Dam Service Access Road (Approximately 2,780 SY) as indicated in the Index of Exhibits. Please note, all measurements or quantities are approximate. It is the responsibility the contractor to inspect the site for exact square footage amounts and special conditions prior to bidding a proposal. Prices shall include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, supervision, material, and equipment.
