Renovation of a parking garage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Department of Public Works (DPW), is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified Contractor to renovation of the City Parking Structure at 2nd and Plankinton. All proposals in response to the RFP must be submitted via email to mmcnab@milwaukee.gov no later than Thursday, March 27 2025 at 4:00PM (CDT). All proposals and accompanying documentation will become the property of the Department of Public Works and may not be returned. Selection of a proposal does not affect this right. Completion of base by July 31, 2025 Completion of Alt 1 by January 31, 2026 Liquidated Damages, per diem: $ 170 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SBE Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate SBE Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. All requests for information regarding the RFP and the selection process should be addressed to Mr. Matt McNabney at mmcnab@milwaukee.gov by Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 4:00PM (CDT). Questions/answers and any other items will be provided in an addendum to be sent to all plan holders and posted on the DPW website on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Only written responses and/or addenda will be binding upon the City. The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and accept only such proposals as is in the best interest of the City of Milwaukee.
