The Department of Public Works (DPW), is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified Contractor to renovation of the City Parking Structure at 2nd and Plankinton. All proposals in response to the RFP must be submitted via email to mmcnab@milwaukee.gov no later than Thursday, March 27 2025 at 4:00PM (CDT). All proposals and accompanying documentation will become the property of the Department of Public Works and may not be returned. Selection of a proposal does not affect this right. Completion of base by July 31, 2025 Completion of Alt 1 by January 31, 2026 Liquidated Damages, per diem: $ 170 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SBE Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate SBE Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive.
