Site work for a water / sewer project in Clearwater, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The following construction projects will be solicited within the next 30 days: Cured-In-Place (CIPP) Stormwater Pipe Rehabilitation The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. a. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, manpower, tools, equipment, materials, insurance, bonds, management, transportation, and performing all operations in connection with the rehabilitation of 8" through 72" gravity sanitary sewer and storm sewer lines using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner. b. The CIPP shall be continuous and joint less from structure to structure and shall be free of all defects that will affect the long-term life and operation of the pipe. c. All lining material shall be suitable for use in domestic sewers. d. Pipelines to be rehabilitated may be in backyard easements, light traffic subdivision roadways or highways requiring Maintenance of Traffic plans conforming to Florida Department of Transportation standard plans. Temporary Traffic Control plans by a professional engineer are required for work where standard index plans do not apply. Work in FDOT R/W's that requires lane closures typically will only be allowed Sunday - Thursday 8:00 PM - 5:30 AM or as required in yet to be obtained FDOT Utility Permits. e. Any main line or service line damage occurring during the rehabilitation process shall be the responsibility of the Contractor including, but not limited to, point repairs, main line replacement, service line replacement, any and all required permits, traffic control, bypass pumping, including a back-up system pipe/structure ventilation systems, Personal Protection Systems, such personal fresh air respirators, and restoration of all disturbed areas. f. It shall be assumed that pipelines to be rehabilitated will need cleaning. Pipelines may require removal of protruding services and by-pass pumping to successfully install the liner system. If the Contractor feels point repairs are necessary to complete lining of a particular main line segment, the County may either instruct the Contractor to make the individual necessary repairs, make the repair using County staff, or cancel that section of work at no cost to the County. The Contractor shall be responsible for all material removed from the pipeline and shall properly dispose of materials in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency requirements and shall supply documentation of conformance to these requirements. g. Any main line or service line damage occurring during the rehabilitation process shall be the responsibility of the Contractor including, but not limited to, point repairs, main line replacement, service line replacement, any and all required permits, traffic control, bypass pumping, including a back-up system and restoration of all disturbed areas. The Contractor shall be responsible for any wastewater or cure water spills during any operations and pay any and all fines, fees, property damage, environmental damage and cleanup costs that are associated with wastewater spill. h. All work shall be done in compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) rules and regulation. i. Proper Erosion and Sediment control best management practices will be utilized on all projects. See Pinellas County Utility Technical Specifications, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and Erosion and Sediment Details.
