Yuba Water Agency is requesting bids for the purchase of materials, construct and fabricate guard rails according to Technical Specifications and delivered to the Colgate Powerhouse. Anticipated award of contract (on or before): September 23, 2024 Proposal review: September 19 2024 Final Questions Due: August 28, 2024 Question Responses sent on or before: September 4, 2024 Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by email to the POC no later than 2:00 PM local time on August 28, 2024. All emails must have "Colgate Powerhouse Unit 1 & 2 Generator Air Housing Fall Mitigation Railing" as their subject. Emails not clearly labeled may be overlooked and not responded to. Questions will not be accepted by any other means. Agency reserves the right to decline a response to any question if, in Agency's assessment, the information cannot be obtained and shared in a timely manner. A summary of the questions submitted, including responses deemed relevant and appropriate by Agency, will be emailed on or about August 9, 2024. Proposers are cautioned that they are not to rely upon any oral statements that they may have obtained. Proposers shall direct all inquiries to the POC and shall not contact the requesting department directly regarding any matter related to this RFP. Proposal opening does not constitute awarding of a contract. Response and selection of a proposal will not necessarily result in a contract with Agency. The successful Proposer will receive written notification of the award, along with instructions for finalizing the agreement documents. Contract award is by action of the General Manager and is not in force until fully executed by that individual. Agency reserves the right to: a. Reject any or all proposals, or to solicit additional proposals. b. Request clarification of any submitted information. c. Not select any Proposer and not enter into any agreement. d. Cancel or amend this process at any time. e. To award more than one (1) contract, if in the best interest of the Agency. f. Negotiate with the successful Proposer any additional terms or conditions not contained in their proposal which are in the best interest of Agency or to otherwise revise the scope of this RFP. g. Request additional information from proposers prior to award and perform interviews. h. Waive any irregularity or immaterial deviation in any proposal, which in doing so, shall in no way modify the RFP documents or excuse the proposing firm from full compliance with the contract requirements if the prospective Proposer is awarded the contract. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to assure the proposal is received by POC prior to the deadline. Proposals received after the deadline are considered unresponsive and will not be accepted or opened.
