Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Shorewood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work and new construction of a pre-enginnered storage facility. As of September 11, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has notnyet been released. There will be five (5) sub-bidding packages for this project: Concrete & Excavation Building Insulation Carpentry Overhead Door & Operators Bidders must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall include in bids the costs for the current prevailing wage. As changes are made in these prevailing wages, bidders performing work on the project will be responsible for conforming to the changes and shall have the responsibility for determining when changes are made. No additional costs are to be incurred by the District as a result of changes in the prevailing wage. All recordkeeping requirements are the obligation of the bidder. Certified payrolls must be submitted pursuant to Illinois Law. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
