The County of Greenville is requesting quotes for the demolition and removal of all structures and debris at 4023 Jordan Road, Greer, SC 29651. This project is a forced demolition by the County of a residential structure that has been ruled unfit. All structures on the property will need to be removed including any and all trash, rubbish, debris and uncontrolled growth (weeds/high grasses). When the lot has been cleared, the lot will need to be graded to promote positive drainage and then seeded and strawed to prevent erosion. Demolition (raze/ tear down) of all structure(s), to include removal of the structure(s), removal of all debris, weeds, rank vegetation, driveways, slabs, foundation walls, impervious surfaces, and fences. Sever and seal electrical, gas, water, sewer, and telephone utility mains per the Utility Companies Directives, also to fill open wells, removal/crushing/fill-in of septic tanks, underground fuel tanks, etc. on property(ies) to South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control standards. Demolition of the structure shall be in accordance with all applicable regulations. 4023 Jordan Road, Greer, SC Tax Map Number 0619.01-01-022.01. Asbestos WAS detected on the property and air monitoring will be required for asbestos abatement. Greenville County has contracted S&ME for air monitoring services.
