The proposed Work is generally described as follows: Replacement of two existing rotary drum screens with multi-rake screens, including all associated appurtenances; installation of two new grit channels, with grit removal equipment installed in one channel; installation of baffling in two existing grit channels; installation of a new grit washer/compactor and all associated grit removal and handling instrumentation, electrical, and appurtenances; demolition of existing jet aeration sequencing batch reactor (SBR) equipment and installation of new fine bubble diffused aeration SBR diffusers, decanters, air piping, decanters, and associacted instrumentation, electrical, and appurtenances; installation of new SBR blowers, blower pad, and canopy, including associated instrumentation, electrical equipment, and appurtenances; new SBR Aeration Electrical Building; demolition of existing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system; conversion of one existing post-equalization basin to accommodate new UV disinfection system and new post-aeration; installation of new UV disinfection system equipment, and associated instrumentation, electrical, and appurtenances; re__cpLocation of five existing SBR blowers to the post-aeration area and installation of a new post-aeration blower pad and canopy; installation of new post-aeration diffusers and associated instrumentation, electrical equipment, and appurtenances.
