Sealed bids will be received by the Stanton County Clerk until September 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. and will be opened shortly thereafter for supplying materials required to construct corrugated metal pipes with steel headwalls and wingwalls and other related incidental work at two sites. The Bids will be presented to the Board for consideration at their regularly scheduled meeting. The project sites are located C-84(399) - on 824 Road between 568 Avenue and 569tAvenue, and C-84(321) - on 569 Avenue, between 845 Road and 846 Road, both in Stanton County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "Stanton County 2024 Culverts: C-84(399) & C-84(321)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required to fabricate and deliver the materials to construct: C-84(399) - triple 84" x 42' corrugated metal pipes on a 15-deg. skew (LHB) with steel headwalls and wingwalls and C-84(321) - single 72" x 40' corrugated metal pipes on a 0-deg. skew. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of delivery for the materials with their Bid Proposal. The desired delivery date of the materials is eight to ten weeks after the award of the contract. All materials shall be delivered to the respective project site. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Stanton County Board of Commissioners. The Stanton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 23- 3110 to 23-3114.
