Site work for a civil project in Harker Heights, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 14, 2024 project was cancelled. Project is extected to rebid on November 19, 2024 Construction of: 1) Two (2) automatic slide gate structures 2) Parshall flume structure 3) Approximately 300 LF 30-inch, 75 LF 21-inch, and 50 LF 12-inch gravity sewer lines. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Harker Heights, Texas in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Bid submitted as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and a Maintenance Bond within thirty (30) Days after the notification of the award of the Contract. TIME OF COMPLETION: The Contractor shall have 270 consecutive CALENDAR DAYS to complete the proposed Work. Liquidated damages in the amount specified in 1.36.1 Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete on Time in the Bid requirements and other general Conditions, shall be assessed each day thereafter. Question Deadline 10/04/2024 Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications and Plans must make request for such information to the City's Public Works Inspector prior to 48 hours before the Bid opening.
