Site work for a civil project in Headingley, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Installation of 1200mm CSP Culvert, in 6.0m increments (unless documentation is provided otherwise by the Contractors Geotechnical Engineer), via open cut methods, with vertical trench wall excavation. Culvert bedding and initial backfill to be filter gravel, wrapped in separation geotextile. Site restoration to include step cut repair of existing slope failures and restoration of existing pathway. Landscaping restoration to include topsoil, seed and ECB. The Contractor shall carry Liability Insurance, in the amount of at least five million dollars ($5,000,000.00), covering all aspects of the work to be performed. The Contractor shall provide proof of insurance to the Owner, prior to commencement of the Contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for all Workers Compensation arrangements and the payment of all assessments under the Workers Compensation Act and shall indemnify and save harmless, the Owner against any and all claims resulting from injuries to persons or property in carrying out of the work.
