West Virginia University's ("WVU") Roads and Grounds ("R&G") Department is requesting Bids for Suppliers to provide and deliver up to one thousand (1,000) tons of treated salt and one hundred (100) tons of untreated (plain sodium chloride (NaCl)) for deicing over the annual term of the Agreement, with total Agreement term being five (5) years. This agreement will in no way express a guaranteed minimum quantity but authorizes up to one thousand (1,000) tons of salt to be purchased per year. WVU R&G retains the option for a single award or multiple awards resulting from this solicitation. If multiple awards are made, each Supplier will have an openend, non-exclusive agreement, and requests for salt will be based on delivery schedule, amount available to be delivered, and cost.
