Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Durant, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Site Directions: North of 6th Street and south of 7th Street between 10th Avenue and 12th Avenue in Durant, Iowa. Bids are invited upon the construction of park improvements including grading, pickleball courts, and PCC sidewalks. Base bid is concrete pavement with an alternate bid for asphalt pavement and windscreen. Demolition is being done by others with the exception of fence removal which shall be completed by April 1, 2025. Removal of existing tennis courts and replacement with concrete or asphalt pickleball courts. Concrete is base bid and asphalt is alternate bid item. Work includes fence removal which must be done by April 1, 2025. Pavement removal is by others April 2025. Exterior fencing is 10' black vinyl coated chain link with 2 small gates. Windscreen is an alternate bid item. Est. Value: $ 155,000.00 A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Durant, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Final completion of project must be attained by July 1, 2025. The City of Durant reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
