Description

Site work for a road / highway in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The purpose of this requirement is to provide the 502 SFS (Fort Sam Houston) with 21-star barrier sets and 802 SFS (Lackland AFB) with 23-star barrier sets for posted sentries at JBSA installation gates, to significantly deter adversaries from attacking JBSA. Each STAR barrier shall be a 2-piece unit, secured with a padlock, and have three steel spikes specifically designed to stop a threat vehicle. The barriers can be used individually, or the padlocks can be used to connect the units to create a 2-, 3-, and or multi-star barrier. Questions are due 10 September, 3:00 PM CST. Questions regarding this Request for Quotation are to be submitted in writing and directed ONLY to the 502d Contracting Squadron personnel. Questions or interchanges with other contractors and other than contracting Government personnel may render a quotation invalid Question Deadline 09/10/2024 at 3:00 PM CT
