Site work for a road / highway in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The purpose of this requirement is to provide the 502 SFS (Fort Sam Houston) with 21-star barrier sets and 802 SFS (Lackland AFB) with 23-star barrier sets for posted sentries at JBSA installation gates, to significantly deter adversaries from attacking JBSA. Each STAR barrier shall be a 2-piece unit, secured with a padlock, and have three steel spikes specifically designed to stop a threat vehicle. The barriers can be used individually, or the padlocks can be used to connect the units to create a 2-, 3-, and or multi-star barrier. Questions are due 10 September, 3:00 PM CST. Questions regarding this Request for Quotation are to be submitted in writing and directed ONLY to the 502d Contracting Squadron personnel. Submit via email to: charles.house.3us.af.mil AND brian.cooper.18us.af.mil. Questions or interchanges with other contractors and other than contracting Government personnel may render a quotation invalid Question Deadline 09/10/2024 at 3:00 PM CT
