Scope of work includes aluminum walkway canopy covers in support of aluminum walkway canopy cover jobs as needed throughout the District allowing facilities and schools to adequately be serviced as needed by replacing old and damaged aluminum walkway canopy covers, including concrete footings as Aldine requires and other work normally performed by an aluminum walkway canopy cover Contractor. Scope also includes removing and hauling-off old walkway canopy units as well as providing new where listed in the project specific scope of work. Aldine ISD reserves the right to award work under multiple contracts or a single prime contract. Total Estimated Approximate Construction Cost To Be Determined on Case-By-Case Basis Estimated Average Construction Cost/Project $ 55,500 yearly Responding participants will received any addendum that may occur prior to the bid due date via the eBid system. Questions regarding the bid are to be submitted in writing to bids@aldineisd.org. The date of Substantial Completion for the entire project will be determined at time of service request on a case-by- case basis. BIDDERS should schedule all work to be completed (including alternates) and final cleaning, in order for Aldine ISD to take possession and occupy the facility on Substantial Completion date. The date of Final Completion is 30 days from Substantial Completion, for Contractor to complete correction of punch list items. A school calendar is included. Contractor shall assume that no interior work can take place during school hours. No work may take place during school testing times. If contractor feels that the work cannot be completed by Substantial Completion date, an alternate substantial completion date shall be submitted with the bid. Contractor to start work within 5 days of Purchase Order. The District, at its discretion, reserves the right to re-advertise and extend the due date and time; any extensions will be indicated on the form of an addendum. Aldine ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids or to make awards as they appear to be advantageous to the district and to waive any and all informalities.
