Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Work generally consists of removing and replacement of the third-floor roof at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. Early Start Date: June 1, 2025 Completion Date: September 30, 2025 Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 45 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened. Question Deadline 04/17/2025 at 5:00 PM CT QA 4/9/2025: Material substitution request to use PVC in lieu of TPO not approved at this time.
