Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Milford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Major items of construction consist of approximately, 27,750 SY HMA milling, 100 tons of hot mix asphalt base course pavement, 3,315 tons of hot mix asphalt intermediate course pavement, 2,445 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course pavement, 33,780 linear feet traffic stripes, 315 square yards HMA pavement repair, and other incidental work. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before the date and time specified. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Township, will be in the best interest of the Township, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
