Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
After this deadline, bids will be evaluated with the intent to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time specified in proposals for the performance of the contract. This project will be funded with grant funds received from the N.C. Department of Commerce's Rural Transformation Grant Fund and Rural Grant Programs Fund. The project consists of the removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) from several areas of the building as noted in the limited asbestos screening report. These areas include, but are not limited to, pipe insulation, boiler insulation, cementitious ceiling, pipe elbows, and stair tread. The identified and assumed ACM is to be removed and disposed of by a North Carolina licensed asbestos abatement contractor. Bidders must complete the vendor registration process to login and obtain copies of the bid documents, including the limited asbestos screening report, via a downloadable link, and/or to submit a bid proposal.
