The Alano Club of Crystal Lake, located at 36 N. Virginia St. 60014 a non- profit 501C3 organization is seeking sealed bids for the following: Parking Lot repavement. Projects funds are to be released by the county in early October. The project is funded with federal funds under the McHenry County Community Development Block Grant Program. Proof of workman's compensation and liability insurance must be submitted with sealed bid. Contractors must be fully insured and cannot be debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from federal funding or state funded projects. Contractors are required to complete certified payroll sheets (WH-347) Womens business Enterprise, and minority Businesses are encouraged to bid. The project under consideration for new asphalt surface comprises of aprox. 8900 square feet. Includes removal of existing asphalt to a depth of 4" -8900 sf. Includes hauling away generated spoils to an approved recycling facility. Manhole repair- cut repair and morter sinking grate cover. Install backfill as needed to grade asphalt to matching grade. Inspect fine grade and compact existing aggregate base course 8900sf up to 45 tons of new base material ( 3-truck loads) Install 4.0" bituminous asphalt in two lifts consisting of 2.5" of binder and 1.5 inches surface course asphalt to proper compaction 8900sf. Apply for all necessary permits. Re-stripe parking lot as per existing layout.
