Project Description: Work at this school will include demolition of existing building wing, addition of new front entry, building interior architectural renovations, new lighting throughout, upgraded communications cabling, new fire alarm, new security, additional plumbing and mechanical. Includes new underground detention and reconfigured parking and building entries. Shiel Sexton is seeking qualified subcontractor bids for the Arlington Middle School Renovation project for work associated with the following bid packages: Contract No. 01 - Earthwork and Site Utilities Contract No. 02 - Asphalt Paving Contract No. 03 - Concrete Contract No. 04 - Masonry Contract No. 05 - Steel Contract No. 06 - General Trades Contract No. 07 - Metal Panels Contract No. 08 - Roofing Contract No. 09 - Glass and Glazing Contract No. 10 - Floor and Tile Contract No. 11 - Fire Protection Contract No. 12 - Plumbing and HVAC Contract No. 13 - Electrical Bids over $200,000.00 shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total Base Bid amount as indicated on the Bid Form(s). Bids under $200,000.00 do not require a bid security.
