Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Derry, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract with a company that excavates, preps and builds stairs at Alexander Carr Park. Installation of landscape stairs to access the skatepark located at Alexander Carr Park, 28 Pierce Avenue, Derry. The contractor will provide a payment and performance bond for 100% of the bid price. Question Deadline 04/25/2025 at 12:00 PM ET. Questions regarding this request should be directed to Kimberly Walsh, Director of Parks and Recreation via email at kimwalsh@derrynh.org. The Town of Derry reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that appears to be in the best interest of the Town. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient for disqualification. SCCOPE OF WORK: - Excavate, set and pour two anchor footings - Install landscape fabric and crushed stone for drainage. - Build 5' wide landscape style steps to skate park using 6 x 6 ground contact with pressure treated lumber. - Framed steps to be filled with 3/4 inch stone. - 3/4 inch stone to be placed from the paved walkway to the base of the steps. - Erosion stone to be placed on both sides of the fence. - Remove all staging, dispose of all generated debris and leave worksite clean and neat as found. - All bids shall contain specification sheets for all materials used if applicable
