Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project consists of a new 335 sf addition and a partial renovation of the 15,244-sf existing building. The new addition consists of a new fire sprinkler riser room and vestibule. The renovation includes a full renovation of the kitchen, a new fire sprinkler system throughout, replacement of ceilings and light fixtures, and new floor finishes in all corridors and some classrooms. The exterior metal panel will also be replaced. As of September 12, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Specific work to include: demolition, concrete foundations and floors, structural and misc. steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, casework, insulation (batt, thermal, foam and spray), EIFS, air barriers, metal wall and soffit panels, EPDM roofing, flashings, firestopping, joint sealants, expansion joint covers, hollow metal doors/frames / hardware, flush wood doors, aluminum storefront and glazing, gypsum drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, interior and exterior painting, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, site prep, site concrete, and landscaping. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and to reject a bid not accompanied by any requiring bid security or by other data required by the bidding documents; or to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular and to waive any informalities in any proposal. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of Forty-Five (45) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals.
