Renovation of a municipal facility in North Haven, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description: This is a request for proposals to replace the Town Office roof. The roof is currently shingled with asphalt shingles. The Town would consider proposals both for new asphalt shingles and for a metal roof. In addition, the work would include removing and replacing the gutters, repairing, and painting the soffits and fascia boards, and performing other associated work as needed to ensure the roof and associated structures are free from rot. The Town should expect the materials and workmanship used to replace the roof to last at least 20 years. Evaluation Criteria: The Town will award the contract to the contractor whose proposal represents the best overall value to the Town, considering the following: - Price - Experience, including demonstrated ability to perform on time. - Warranties o Manufacturer's roofing material warranty o Contractor's installation warranty Right to Reject Proposals: The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
