Renovation of a municipal facility in North Haven, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description: This is a request for proposals to make the following repairs to the Recycling Center and the Office at the Town Transfer Station: Task 1 - Recycling Center Roof: Replace the existing roof shingles with new green metal roofing to match the metal roofed building nearby. The work must include removing and replacing any weak or rotted sheathing and insulation as necessary to protect the building's integrity. The metal roofing must be warranted by the manufacturer for at least 25 years. Replace trim, facia, and soffit boards with Azek or similar product. Task 2 - Office Roof: Replace the existing roof shingles with new green metal roofing to match the metal roofed building nearby. Evaluation Criteria: The Town will award the contract to the contractor whose proposal represents the best overall value to the Town, considering the following: o Price o Experience, including demonstrated ability to perform on time o Warranties o Manufacturer's roofing material warranty o Contractor's installation warranty Right to Reject Proposals: The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals
