Description

Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Ellsworth, Maine. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Architects and Engineers Request for Qualifications The Maine Judicial Branch intends to build a 4 courtroom (2 jury, 2 non-jury) consolidated Superior and District courthouse in the City of Ellsworth at 120 Surry Road (map 020, lot 080), or a site with similar constructability characteristics (i.e. frontage, construction footprint, public utility access, etc.). Construction could begin as early as design and permitting are completed, anticipated to be on or about July 2025. The scope of services for this project includes, but may not be limited to, schedule and cost estimating, preliminary design, design development, contract documents, and administration of bidding and construction. The AE Consultant may be required to coordinate this work or additional work with other consultants contracted by the Owner. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
