Renovation of a municipal facility in Ellsworth, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The goal of this project is to replace the existing system with a new heat pump/VRF system consisting of outside condensing units and inside air ducted air handlers and new branch ductwork per basis of design. The existing basement ERV, associated chiller and duct coils will be replaced with a new ERV and electric duct heater. Also, the existing 1st floor 15,000 btu ductless heat pump along with a new 18,000 btu ductless heat pump will be installed in the basement for heating and humidity control. Lastly, a new heat pump water heater with circulator will be installed in the basement to replace the existing non-functioning electric water heater. The outside units are to be installed on concrete pads. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to provide and install all associated equipment, line sets, ductwork, dampers, controls, electrical power (including any upgrades if necessary), commissioning and balancing for a completely functional and adequately sized system. AMHC reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason.
