Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brewer, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As per today, January 09 2025 project was awarded to Wellman Paving Inc , awarded amount is $221,234. They plan to begin in the spring of 2025. Bids are requested for Elm Street and Pierce Road Sidewalk and Storm Drain Project for the City of Brewer. On Elm Street (WIN #026053.07), new slip form concrete curbing will be installed in designated locations and sidewalk reconstruction will happen in select areas. Two different curb molds will be used in different locations as specified in bid documents. On Pierce Road (WIN #026053.18), new bituminous curbing will be installed in designated locations and new sidewalk construction will occur from Wilson Street to Wild Rose Drive. Storm drain replacement of an existing pipe run will occur (approximately 500 LF of 12 HDPE pipe). One new field basin will be installed with an outlet and one concrete pipe will be reset in place to address a settling issue. Prospective contractors should note that this project must be completed before July 1, 2025. The City of Brewer, Maine holds the exclusive right to reject or accept all or part of any or all bids received
